There wasn't any institution giving Degree education in Pharmacy in Ratnagiri & Sindhudurg as well as Raigad. As a result of which the students were unable to achieve degree in pharmacy. Considering all these facts, the Sanstha stared a well equipped Govindrao Nikam College of Pharmacy, Sawarde in the Academic Year 2005-06 with the permission of P.C.I., A.I.C.T.E., New Delhi, Government of Maharashtra, D.T.E., Mumbai & affiliated to Mumbai University. In very short period of time college has recognised itself as one of best college in academics & co-curricular & extracurricular activities. The college is fully equipped by modern Laboratories & Library with various international journals & e-journals like Science direct & Bentham. Also backed up by Govt. Girls hostel for backward class & other hostel for boys, large play ground & pacific evergreen surrounding best by nature of Konkan. The staff is well qualified & approved by Mumbai University along with non¬ teaching staff.

Eligibility to admission to B.pharm-

Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra State Candidates and Outside Maharashtra State Candidates

•Passed H.S.C. Sci - PCB OR PCM group required Minimum 50% marks for General category & 45% marks required for Reserve category with MHT-CET-2020 non zero marks.

Eligible Criteria for Direct Second Year-

• (i) The Candidate should be an Indian National.

• (ii)Passed Diploma Course in Pharmacy with at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) from an All India Council for Technical Education or Pharmacy Council of India or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent.
